What personal data we collect and why we collect it

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Who we share your data with

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

TCPA Compliance and 10DLC Registration

At Atlas Foundation Repair, we value your privacy and strive to ensure that all our communication practices adhere to the highest standards of legal compliance. As part of our commitment to transparency and respect for our customers, we have implemented practices that comply with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and 10DLC regulations.

What is TCPA and 10DLC?

The TCPA is a federal law in the United States that restricts telemarketing calls, automatic dialing systems, pre-recorded voice messages, SMS text messages, and fax. It was enacted to protect consumers from unsolicited calls and messages.

Our Commitment to Compliance

To comply with these regulations, we have implemented the following practices:

    1. Prior Express Written Consent: We only send text messages to customers who have given us their explicit consent. This consent is obtained when you fill out one of our forms, engage with our chat widget, or opt-in for text communication. Consent is always voluntary and can be withdrawn at any time.
    2. Clear Opt-In Language: We use clear language on our website forms, terms and conditions, and privacy policy to ensure you understand what you’re agreeing to when you provide your consent.
    3. Respecting Your Rights: You have the right to opt-out of our communications at any time. We provide easy-to-follow instructions on how to do this in every message we send.

Our Opt-In Language

When you provide your phone number to Atlas Foundation Repair, you will see the following opt-in language:
“It’s okay to reach me for scheduling and questions via text. Message/data rates apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase.” [Terms and Conditions] | [Privacy Policy].”

Your Rights

You have the right to opt-out of receiving text messages from us at any time. To do so, simply reply STOP to any of our text messages. If you have any questions or concerns about our TCPA compliance practices, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Changes to This Policy

We may update our TCPA Compliance policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes.
